Well as the title suggests it’s been a busy few days with me!
Thursday was the day I finally and I hope it is final got to say goodbye to my little loan car from my garage, I’ve swapped it for a lovely shiny car :).
As many of you know my MSc Masters in Animal Manipulation started on 31st May. The day started at 4.30am… Yes!! 4.30!!! I thought I would leave home early to avoid the dreaded M25 traffic and hopefully miss any on the M40 certain that I had to be in Abingdon for a 9am start.
The journey went very well and I manged to avoid all traffic, and arrived in very good time at 7.30am!!! I spotted a large 24 hour Tesco nearby and headed there to kill a little time!
Whilst having my little wait at Tesco I thought I would just check the course timetable… Hmm…. Induction etc.. 9.30am!! I was well and truly early!
Well after a good rest it was time to start… All I can say is that it was an interesting day!
The morning was quite gentle and a settling in time, then after lunch research skills talk!! Day one and we had the conversation about our final year dissertation, and also my favourite subject, statistical analysis!
Luckily after that we got to have a go at finding area’s on each other and to identify the C2 vertebra.
It was very interesting but also a very tiring day, we finished at 4.30pm, isn’t that the best time of day to be heading home at??!! The M40 wasn’t too bad once I got onto it! I tried to be clever and stopped for dinner before the M25 to try to avoid the traffic, how wrong can you be??!! I finally walked through my door at 8.30pm, such a long day but also such a great day!
At Saturday Playtime I was a little tired as Alice and myself did sit up celebrating the start of my course ha ha ha!
But we had a great day, we had beautiful sunny weather, I loved it, I love seeing the dogs all play with their friends.
I spent a lovely afternoon with my family have a Bar-B-Q and enjoying a well earned rest.
