I am so sorry to all of you who follow this, since my two week break in June it has been full on with work, and Wedding planning and appointments, and lets not mention the dreaded studies!!! Please if you know the answer remind me why I decided to a Masters?? I am not sure where July went to I can only assume it was taken off of the calendar as it went by without me realising!! I came back from Egypt the end of June and was straight back into work for you all after a much needed rest… ( Where’s my passport, need another!) I have had in the time from returning to now an animal handling Day in Dorset on a Saturday followed the next day to an animal theory day in Abingdon at Mc Timoney head quarters, then back home briefly to fit in some pre wedding bits and some work with you all. The next Friday I was back in Abingdon for a full day of Lectures for a practical skills which is human stuff and the Sunday in Bath for equine fascia release and massage… over 1300 miles travelled!!then a bit of time off for the next lecture .. a full day on research and discussing our dissertations and going forward to PhD!!! Let’s see if I can pass any of this first I think!! Luckily they have moved our Biomechanics exam until 6th September as I’ve had no time to revise, only problem is we also have to hand in our 1500 word proposal for our dissertations! This course is very intense as it is a full level 6 squashed into 6 months for the first bit.. it usually takes 3 years for a level 6 as that is the level of my undergraduate qualification!
So where are we animal wise? As you now all know I full into the therapeutic side of learning now and would love to get my hands on some dogs and horses for practise, I have one lovely client so far offering her horses up and her knowledge, I am needing to contact my other lovely client with horses as I have not had two minutes to think over the last couple of weeks, but I will be catching up on everything this week, hopefully! I hope you all would like to let me lose on your animals, and for any that can help I have to human hands and feet and identify bony landmarks on the human spine.
